Who am I and why am I here?
I'm IT Consultant, with a deep focus on Virtualization and Management technologies. I have several years’ experience as a computer hardware technical person, but since joining various companies in my past 4-6 years’ time, I've focused on pre-sales, consultant-type engagements with Microsoft Partners of various sizes, helping them to develop and build Microsoft Virtualization and Management Practices within their businesses.
Much of my role involves presentations, to audiences large and small, including seminars and events. The variety is really what makes my current role interesting. Being able to meet people from a variety of organizations, each with different challenges, and working with them to solve these problems through Microsoft technologies, is something that continues to appeal to me. I'm also a keen blogger and trying to update on the current products and understanding around some of the Microsoft technologies to my partners and customers. Another part of my roles is working as a Microsoft Certified trainer delivering the courses to students as well as for corporate customers.
My goals are around enhancing my skill set, expanding deeper into technologies around the management and efficiency of customer environments, but away from a technical perspective, I'd also like to further enhance business relationships with customers to help them accelerate their business growth. <o:p></o:p>
